Guide - Student Loans and Coding Notices from HM Revenue & Customs

If your employee has a student loan that needs repaying H M Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will inform Way2paye via a student laon notice. It will be deducted from the net pay and paid to HMRC with the tax and national insurance contributions.

If your employee has a new tax code HMRC will inform Way2paye directly. This will be applied to the account accordingly. If your employee does not agree with their new tax code they can telephone the tax office directly on 0300 200 3300. HMRC may then reissue another coding notice which can be applied to the account.
